Planing For Your Child's Baptism Day

My little girl just turned eight years old which means it's her special year to be baptized.  She has been so excited for this special day to come since she turned 3 years old.  I want to make her day really special so I'm doing everything I can to make it a day to remember.  If you have a son or daughter who will be turning eight years old sometime in the near future there are some important things you should keep in mind before planning their party.  Here are some tips for you today.
Plan Ahead
Since a baptism is a special day for your child it's so important to do your part to plan ahead and make it one of the very best days of their lives.  By planning ahead you can make sure everything is perfect for them, and you can make sure everyone knows far in advance what day to plan on so they can be sure to be there and not miss it.  When it comes to planning a special day for your child it's always important to plan ahead.
Find The Perfect Outfit For Your Child
Since a baptism is such an important day you don't want to just go out and buy the first baptism dress or little suit for a boy that you see.  It's so important to bring your child with you when you are shopping around and let them pick out an outfit.  This makes it so the child loves the outfit they get to pick out, and it's more special for them because they picked it out themselves.
Plan A Big Party After the Special Event
Nothing is more fun for a child then throwing a party in their honor.  For my child's baptism day I have put together a big barbeque after with pictures of my child at all the tables, and a place to write a special note to my little girl as well.  It will be such a fun event for her just to celebrate her special day, I know that she will love it!
When all is said and done a baptism is a special day, and if your child is about to turn eight years old it's important to do your part to make it a great day for your child.  By following my advice above you will be sure to plan a bash that they will never forget!
