I had a friend as a child who was a good kid; he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and always did what was right. As he grew older we begun to drift apart a little, he began to get screwed up in the awful world of drugs, and began not to care about the things which were critical anymore. It has been a long while since I’ve seen my buddy, but just simply the other day I discovered a post on him inside the newspaper. He ended up arrested for breaking into a young man’s house, retaining him at gun point, and then demanding he give him drugs. He was arrested, and may also be in jail for many years to come virtually all as a consequence of his brainless drug addiction.
Some people in life today would give every little thing up for drugs. My close friend had a wife, and kids, but due to his drug addiction he's now in jail, and his family is left to fend for themselves. How pathetic is it that individuals become so enslaved by drugs that they give their very own life for them?
I had yet another friend whom fought with drugs all through high school, yet did everything that she could to repair her life and turn it around. He is now in jail because he held a guy at gunpoint for the only thing that he cares about in his life. 
It is amazing to me what a rehabilitation center can do to help individuals with their problems. It’s precisely what an individual needs to transform their life around when they are so low, they've got no place else to turn. It may bring meaning to life, and help you remember the things that are important again.
If you are somebody who is fighting an addiction, or know an individual who requires help, don’t delay another minute, get them the help which they need today by admitting them to a rehab center. They could hate you for it to start with; however in the end they'll thank you. It might be one of the very best things you will ever do for somebody in your entire life, and will transform their life for the better for many years to come.
