I really love excellent design, house décor as well as the
beautiful fashions that have been happening. I love to be a little modern-day
and keep my property furnishings up to date. I love to go shopping at the
Pottery Barn, Ethan Allen and the like, on the other hand also love being a
touch unique too. I really like to put in a bit of a different touch to my
house, making it ours. Every now and then I used to check out boutiques or
old-fashioned shops to look for unique objects. I came across some great goods
from these locations; however it usually took a long time. I am extremely picky
and I would look for several weeks before I discovered the ideal piece that
would work in our home. I have recently discovered the idea of vintage custom furniture. I suppose I always knew you can do it, but I never thought about it.
I've actually been having fun with it!
Several months back, we were decorating my daughter’s room.
She'd just turned five-years old and it was about time for a more mature feel
to her area. So we painted over the pink wall surfaces of her space with a
lovely, tender yellow. We got rid of her princess bed, her outdated table
dresser and added a terrific rug to the floor. We had a concern when it came to
selecting a brand new head and foot board for her bed. We needed it to be an
item that might be a good focus for the space, go with the rest, but will also
be a thing we would like for several years as she'd be using it for quite a
while. Finally, following a great deal of seeking, I made the decision to hire
a person to make us a custom bed. We told them what we dreamed of, showed them
shots of her place and revealed the fashion and look that we required. The
custom furniture designer speedily drew up a sketch and we really liked it! It
was specifically what we wished for! We confirmed it and he got ready to make
it for us. We picked it up 2-3 weeks later on and we couldn't be more pleased.
My daughter is very satisfied with it and my husband and I like it as well. We
know that she will enjoy it for a very long time. It truly is stable, well
built, and entirely gorgeous and we appreciate that it is unique to us. No one
else will have that bed with the exact same design, the identical carvings or
exactly the same look. He designed it with our needs and wants in mind.
I've since gone back and had more custom furniture pieces
made from that very same location. I needed a chest of drawers a few months
later and had them make that as well. They did an incredible job and I love to
see it in our living room. I really like having my own house and making it a
space that we all love and enjoy.
